Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was baptized Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) on August 14, 1983. Kunis seven years old, immigrated to the United States along with her parents Elvira and Mark Kunis. She eventually settled in Los Angeles. It proved to be a rough start for the Kunis family, who came to their new home with only $250 in their pockets. Kunis' parents, who both gave up their professional jobs to relocate to a better location for their children and were determined to create a better future for their family. Mark who was a former mechanical engineer, landed a job as Uber's driver. Elvira had previously taught physics in Ukraine and ended up owning a pharmacy. Kunis acknowledged that he didn't understand American culture at first. "I didn't know the American people. I didn't understand the language. My first sentence of my essay to get into college was like, 'Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of 7.' That's exactly what it was like moving to America. But I got over it pretty fast." Milena Markovna Kunis was the daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was August 14, 1983. She has an older brother. Her mother works as a physics teacher however, she runs a pharmacy well, while her father is a mechanical engineer by profession, who is also a cab driver. She is Jewish. Her family moved from Israel to Los Angeles when she turned seven. Rosewood Elementary was where she went to school. When she was nine-years-old she started acting classes. After auditioning for few commercials, she made her television debut in 1994 on 'Days of our Lives. She also appeared as a child actor on the 'Honey We Shrunk Ourself and 'Santa with Muscles,' as well as the Angelina Jolie movie, Gia. In 1998, she was given the role of Jackie Burkhart in the hit sitcom "That  1970s Show". The show received rave reviews for her performance, and was later requested to voice for the role in "Family Guy" as Meg Griffin.
