Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow, born December 18th 1979. She is most famous for her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara and The Darkness. She also is famous for her role as the Armorer on The Mandalorian, the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also an integral part of the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. She started acting in the Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville as studying at the time. In 2001, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and afterward, she pursued an MFA in Acting from the New York University's Tisch School for the Arts.Swallow began her professional career on Broadway theatre and was a part of diverse productions, such as High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, and the world premiere of off-Broadway productions Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She was the star of the world premieres of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also appeared alongside Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsthe play Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. (citation needed) She was the winner of the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the top female actor in the part of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman created a stage production titled Jac N Swallow. The show was staged at Joe's Pub and at the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show revolves around the hilarious misadventures of Jac Huberman and Swallow who face a myriad of situations in their lives, with various degrees of success.
